Nigerian music star Burna Boy is set to make his debut performance in India after being announced as one of the headline acts for Rolling Loud India 2026, scheduled for December 12 and 13.

The Grammy-winning singer will headline the festival’s opening day alongside American record producer Metro Boomin, joining an international lineup featuring major hip-hop acts and performers from India’s thriving rap scene.
Other international stars billed for the festival include American rapper Big Sean and British rapper Skepta. Punjabi rapper Karan Aujla will also return as a headliner for the second consecutive year, following his appearance at the event’s inaugural Indian edition in 2025.
Burna Boy has established himself as one of Africa’s leading musical exports, earning international recognition with projects such as Twice as Tall, which won the Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album in 2021. His upcoming appearance adds India to the list of markets he has reached through his music and live performances.
Day one, on December 12, will also feature Big Sean and GoldLink, alongside Indian performers Dhanda Nyoliwala and Paal Dabba.
The festival concludes on December 13, with Karan Aujla headlining alongside Skepta and Schoolboy Q. Other scheduled performers include Indian hip-hop duo Seedhe Maut, Raja Kumari and BabyChiefDoIt.
With artists representing different sounds and languages, including Punjabi, Haryanvi, Tamil, Marathi and Gujarati, Rolling Loud India 2026 will bring international hip-hop acts together with India’s diverse regional rap scene.
For Burna Boy, the performance marks another milestone in his touring career, allowing him to introduce his music to Indian audiences as Afrobeats continues to expand its presence on international festival stages.
