Nigerian rap star Olamide is preparing for a major career milestone after confirming a headline concert at London’s iconic O2 Arena on March 25, 2027.

The show, announced by Hera Touring in partnership with YBNL Entertainment, will mark the rapper’s first headline performance at the renowned venue, taking his music to another major international stage following his appearance at OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025.
For an artiste whose influence stretches across Nigerian street music and the wider Afrobeats movement, the upcoming concert represents another significant moment in a career built on consistency, cultural impact, and the ability to connect with audiences across generations.
Fans can expect a setlist that revisits different stages of Olamide’s musical journey, from the street anthems that established his name to the newer records that continue to shape his sound. The performance is also expected to bring the energetic crowd engagement and unmistakable Lagos street spirit that have become part of his identity as a live performer.
Beyond his success as a rapper, Olamide has earned considerable recognition as the founder of YBNL Entertainment. The label has played a major role in introducing several successful artists to the mainstream, including Fireboy DML, Asake, Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh.
His musical catalogue also reflects his long-standing connections across the industry, with collaborations involving some of Afrobeats’ biggest names, including Wizkid, Davido, Omah Lay, Darkoo, Tiwa Savage, and Young Jonn. His ability to move between Yoruba and English while maintaining a distinct musical identity has helped him sustain his relevance for more than a decade.
The London concert will feature some of his biggest records alongside songs from his self-titled 2025 album, Olamidé. Organizers have also confirmed that special guest appearances from artists within the Afrobeats and UK music scenes will be announced at a later date.
Speaking about the upcoming performance, Olamide said, “London has always shown me love, from the early days to Wembley. Standing on The O2 stage is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time. The movement is Lagos built and London amplified, so this one is for everybody who has rocked with me and with YBNL from day one. We’re bringing the whole street to Greenwich. 25 March, make sure you’re there.”
Hera Touring also highlighted the significance of the booking, with Abi Babalola describing the move from Wembley to the O2 as a defining moment in the rapper’s career.
“OVO Wembley Arena was a statement. The O2 London is a coronation,” says Abi Babalola for Hera Touring. “Olamide hasn’t just been part of Afrobeats’ rise to a global phenomenon; he’s built it, one artist and one anthem at a time. Bringing him to The O2 is a milestone for him, for his fans and for the culture. 25 March 2027 is going to be a night London talks about for years.”
The concert is scheduled for Thursday, March 25, 2027, at The O2 Arena, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX.
Ticket sales will follow a phased schedule, with O2 Priority and artist presales beginning on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10 a.m., followed by the venue presale on Thursday, October 22, and general sales on Friday, October 23. Tickets are expected to be available through AXS, Ticketmaster and Cokobar.com, while eligible O2 customers can access priority tickets through the O2 Priority app.
With preparations underway, Olamide’s upcoming O2 Arena appearance adds another major international date to the story of an artiste whose influence has helped shape the sound and direction of contemporary Nigerian music.
