Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema has followed up on the buzz surrounding his recent single TEA with another fresh release, Oh No.
The new track arrives at a busy point in Rema’s career, following a series of international collaborations and major performances that have further strengthened his global presence.
This time, however, the singer puts the spotlight back on himself with a solo record that leans into a lighter and more playful side of his artistry.
Produced by Rvssian and London, “Oh No” rides on a lively Afro-fusion production built around bouncing percussion, deep bass, and airy synths. The instrumental gives Rema plenty of room to switch between smooth melodies, playful delivery, and his familiar ad-libs.
On the lyrical side, Rema explores attraction, nightlife, and the impulsive energy that comes with getting caught up in the moment. He blends English and Pidgin with catchy melodic phrases, creating a hook designed to stick after just a few listens.
