Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has offered young people an unconventional tip for navigating the road to success, placing a good marriage alongside discipline, patience and faith.
The music star shared the advice during a recent street interview while out with his wife, Temi Otedola. When asked about an important quality people should look out for while building a successful life, Mr Eazi simply replied, “Marry a good wife.”
He went on to mention discipline, patience, and the fear of God as other qualities he believes can make a difference for young adults trying to find their feet.
Advising those coming behind him, the singer said, “I would say discipline, patience, and fear of God.”
Mr Eazi also looked back on some of the tougher moments that came with building his career, particularly the experience of having people question his abilities and decisions.
According to him, moments of doubt can also become motivation when approached with the right mindset. Reflecting on his own experience, he said, “The difficulty of unbelief when you are being second-guessed. You can turn it into something that drives you as well.”
His comments come against the backdrop of a career that has seen him establish himself not only as a prominent figure in African music but also as an entrepreneur with interests beyond entertainment.
