Liverpool have officially completed the signing of French winger Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal that could rise to £123 million.
The 23-year-old has agreed to a five-year contract with the Reds after completing his medical, bringing one of the summer’s biggest transfer stories to a close. Barcola will wear the No. 29 shirt at Anfield.

Liverpool are understood to have paid £106 million upfront, with another £17 million potentially available through performance-related add-ons. The agreement makes Barcola the second-most expensive player in the club’s history, behind only Alexander Isak’s £125 million move from Newcastle in 2025.
Barcola arrives after an impressive spell at PSG and is expected to become a major part of Liverpool’s new attacking setup. His arrival is particularly significant as the club continues to adjust to life after Mohamed Salah, with the Frenchman expected to take on a prominent role in the attack.

Although naturally comfortable on the left wing, Barcola could be asked to adapt to different roles depending on how manager Andoni Iraola sets up his side. Liverpool’s attacking structure has already undergone considerable changes, particularly with the addition of central forwards Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak.
That tactical shift could place greater responsibility on the wide players to create opportunities and supply the forwards. It means Barcola will have to bring more than his pace and direct running as he settles into his new surroundings.
For the winger, however, the move represents a dream opportunity. He has already experienced the atmosphere at Anfield as an opposition player and is now set to experience it from the other side.

Liverpool will hope their huge investment pays off quickly. With the club entering a new era and expectations naturally high around their record-breaking attacking additions, Barcola has arrived with plenty of attention—and an even bigger opportunity to make his mark at Anfield.
We are delighted to announce we have completed the signing of Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain, subject to international clearance 😁🇫🇷
