Asake has taken his latest album experience to another level with the release of M$NEY Live in London (Spotify Live), a special concert film now available exclusively on Spotify.
The visual project captures the Afrobeats star’s historic one-night-only performance of his chart-topping album M$NEY, which took place on Sunday, June 21, at London’s iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The special event marked the first time Asake performed the album live since its release in May. Backed by a live orchestra, a 40-member choir and renowned band The Composers, the singer delivered a memorable performance featuring songs from the project alongside four previously unreleased tracks.
Beyond documenting a major career moment for Asake, the concert film also represents a milestone for Spotify, becoming the platform’s first-ever full-length live album performance film.
Nearly 2,000 fans attended the exclusive black-tie event, including some of Asake’s biggest Spotify listeners. The historic venue was transformed into a celebration of music and culture as the Nigerian superstar became the first Afrobeats artist to headline a performance of such scale at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, a venue known for its rich history.
The release follows Spotify’s growing collection of exclusive live performance content, joining recent concert films featuring global acts such as Bad Bunny in Tokyo, Olivia Rodrigo in Barcelona, and Skye Newman in London. Alongside the visual release, Spotify has also launched an audio-only version titled Asake – M$NEY Live in London (Spotify Live).
To mark the arrival of the film, Spotify hosted a special premiere screening at its newly opened Listening Lounge in central London.

Reflecting on the significance of the performance, Asake described the event as a celebration of his journey, gratitude, and the message behind the album.
“This performance was a reflection of everything M$NEY represents – gratitude, growth, my spiritual and creative journey all in one. Everything flows from a place of gratitude to God and every moment that’s shaped me, and I hope that comes through. M$NEY was always meant to travel – when you feel good music, you feel it in your chest.
That’s what I wanted this album to be. Something that crosses every border. I start touring the album later this year, but I always like to give my fans a few surprises, which I was able to do with this performance. I’m glad we’re able to share it with fans worldwide.” – Asake.
Built around themes of gratitude, ambition, spirituality and success, M$NEY continues Asake’s tradition of blending Afrobeats rhythms with his unique melodic style. Since its release, the album has topped streaming charts across more than 19 countries, including Nigeria, while reaching No. 8 in the United States.
The project has further strengthened Asake’s position as one of Afrobeats’ biggest global names, with the singer maintaining his dominance on Spotify Nigeria, where he remains the most-streamed artist of all time.
With the release of M$NEY Live in London (Spotify Live), fans around the world can now experience one of Asake’s most defining performances from anywhere.
