Cardi B has reacted to the growing attention surrounding her personal life after recent photos and videos of her spending time with Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye in Italy sparked relationship rumours.

The Grammy-winning rapper addressed the public speculation in a video shared on her Instagram Story, shortly after she and the Udinese shot-stopper were seen enjoying a dinner outing with friends at Gio’s Restaurant inside the St. Regis Hotel in Venice.
Speaking about the constant interest in her private affairs, Cardi B explained that she often feels placed under a level of public observation that many other celebrities do not experience.
She said:
“No cap, I’m really hip hop’s Britney Spears.”
The rapper noted that she is aware of plenty of details about other celebrities’ personal lives, but believes similar situations involving others rarely attract the same level of attention.
She said:
“I got all the tea on these celebrities… I know who’s with who and what’s doing what. But guess what? Nobody reports about it. You want to know why? Because nobody cares.”
Cardi B further expressed frustration that even everyday moments in her life can quickly become subjects of public discussion and online conversations.
She said:
“But when it comes to me… I can’t even… do anything without people talking about it. This is crazy.”
Despite the attention that continues to follow her, the rapper acknowledged that public scrutiny is part of being one of the world’s biggest entertainers and something she has learned to accept.
She added:
“You’ve got to take the good with the bad. It is what it is. People pay for this type of talk.”
The comments come after her recent outing with Okoye, which has generated widespread reactions online, although neither the rapper nor the Nigerian goalkeeper has confirmed any romantic relationship.
“ I know other celebrities that are fvcking each other and nobody is talking about but mine is always different.”
