Burna Boy has added another international achievement to his growing collection after his global collaboration with Shakira, “Dai Dai,“ received a Gold certification in France, further strengthening his position as the most certified Nigerian artist in the country.
The certification marks another milestone in what has been an extraordinary run for the Grammy-winning singer, whose music continues to resonate strongly with audiences across Europe.
With the latest recognition, Burna Boy now boasts 17 certifications in France, more than any other Nigerian musician.
Released as the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, “Dai Dai“ has enjoyed remarkable worldwide success since its debut.
The multilingual record, which blends English and Spanish influences, has performed strongly on global streaming platforms and international music charts.
Burna Boy and Shakira first performed the song during the World Cup opening ceremony in Mexico and are also scheduled to reunite for the tournament’s final, where they will headline a special 30-minute halftime show.
