Shoday Says Money Solves ‘90% of Life’s Problems,’ Sparks Online Debate

Fast-rising Nigerian singer Shoday has set social media buzzing after sharing his views on the power of wealth, insisting that financial success is the closest thing to a shortcut in life.
Speaking during a recent interview, the singer argued that having money dramatically changes a person’s reality, giving them access to solutions and opportunities that would otherwise seem impossible.
“If you have money, you’ve already solved 90% of life’s problems. I call it the hack to life,” he said.
Expanding on his point, Shoday claimed that many of the challenges people face can be overcome with enough financial resources. According to him, money opens doors to options that can address issues ranging from starting a family to finding companionship.
“If you can’t give birth, you can use a surrogate. You can even buy love. The only thing money can’t buy is life, and that’s the remaining 10%,” he added.

The comments have since generated widespread reactions online, with opinions split among fans. While some agreed that financial stability removes many of life’s burdens, others argued that qualities such as genuine love, lasting happiness, and inner peace cannot simply be purchased.
This is not the first time Shoday has offered a personal perspective during an interview. In an earlier conversation, the singer explained why he has chosen to stay away from tattoos, revealing that he still hopes to have the option of returning to a conventional office job should his music career ever take an unexpected turn.
