Afrobeats megastar Davido has given fans a rare glimpse into what is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about celebrity homes in Nigeria, a sprawling 20-room mansion currently under construction in the upscale Eko Atlantic City, Lagos.
The singer, who briefly walked an online streamer through the site, revealed that the project is designed as more than just a luxury residence but also a creative and lifestyle hub tailored to his success and long-standing career in music.
According to him, the basement level alone has been planned as a multi-functional space combining entertainment and utility, featuring a massive garage and several lifestyle additions.
“This is my basement, the basement is going to have a 20-car garage, my studio, apartments, a lounge, and then my staff room,” he said.
Davido further disclosed that the mansion will also include personalized spaces for his family, noting that his wife will enjoy an entire floor designed specifically to suit her preferences and comfort.
“She has her own room, her own everything, her own style… she has her own floor,” Davido proudly revealed.

He explained that the design will blend Caribbean and Mexican influences, reflecting a bold and unique aesthetic rarely seen in Nigeria’s high-end real estate scene.
“I want to inspire the Caribbean, Mexican architectural theme… I’ve worked so hard, it’s only right,” he added.
The development has since generated buzz among fans online, with many describing the project as another statement of Davido’s global success and evolving legacy beyond music.
