Afrofusion star Burna Boy has set tongues wagging after dropping subtle hints about a possible link-up with Canadian rap heavyweight Drake, though he stopped short of confirming anything outright.

In a recent sit-down with Speedy Morman on Complex, Burna Boy spoke about his relationship with Drake and the chances of future collaborations between them.
While reflecting on his past involvement in Drake’s 2017 project More Life, where he had uncredited writing contributions, Burna Boy hinted that their musical chemistry may not be a thing of the past.
“We might have already worked together, you don’t know,” Burna Boy said regarding whether he and Drake have made music since his uncredited contributions to ‘More Life’.
Pressed further on whether fans should expect to hear him on Drake’s forthcoming album Iceman, the Grammy winner kept things intentionally vague.
“It’s not my album.”
That response, rather than shutting things down, has only fueled speculation among fans, many of whom believe the cryptic tone suggests something is already in motion behind the scenes.
With Iceman slated for release on May 15, anticipation is already building, and the mere possibility of Burna Boy making an appearance has added another layer of excitement to what is shaping up to be one of the year’s biggest releases.
