Nigerian music superstar Davido has shared a sweet glimpse into the origins of his relationship with his wife, Chioma Adeleke, tracing their love story back to their university days.
Speaking about their first encounter, Davido revealed that he first noticed Chioma while she was walking on the grounds of Babcock University. He was immediately captivated and attempted to get her attention through a friend, though she initially ignored his advances.
Their paths, however, would cross again later in Lagos, where the connection finally took hold and blossomed into a relationship that has since captured the attention of fans across Nigeria and beyond.
Recalling the moment, Davido said:
“I met my wife in Babcock, I remember the day I saw her, I was in a Prado, I looked behind & I saw her walking & it was chioma, I told lati I like that girl I told him to call her but she snubbed me. Later on she came to Lagos and then we linked up”
