Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido is taking his global journey to the next level, announcing his very first music festival in the United Kingdom (UK).

The Davido & Friends Festival is set to light up London’s Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14, marking the singer’s only outdoor performance in the city this summer. Promising more than just a concert, the festival is designed as a full cultural experience, with the “Davido & Friends” concept hinting at surprise appearances and an elevated celebration of Afrobeats music.
This announcement comes as Davido prepares for his debut at the prestigious Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2026, scheduled to perform on April 11 and April 18 in Indio. He will be the sole Nigerian artist on the lineup, further cementing his growing international influence.
The news also follows his highly successful 5ive World Tour, which saw him traverse North America before returning home for a nationwide run across Nigeria.
The homecoming tour, which kicked off in Akwa Ibom on October 26, took fans on a musical journey through the country’s cultural hubs, including stops in Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Abuja, before culminating in a grand finale in Lagos on Christmas Day.
Fans were treated to a mix of tracks from his 5ive era, including hits like “Funds,” “Awuke,” “10 Kilo,” “Offa Me,” and “With You,” alongside timeless classics such as “Dami Duro,” “FIA,” and “If,” making each stop a celebration of both his artistry and the vibrancy of Nigeria’s music scene.
With the Davido & Friends Festival, it looks like the star is set to give UK fans a taste of that same energy, creating a landmark moment for Afrobeats on the international stage.
