Multiple Grammy-winning music icon Angélique Kidjo has set the stage for what could become one of the most talked-about global releases of 2026 after announcing her forthcoming album HOPE!!, slated to arrive on April 24, 2026.

The legendary Beninese singer revealed that the project will feature an impressive lineup of international collaborators, bringing together artists from different generations, continents, and musical traditions.
The announcement has already generated excitement across the global music community, with fans anticipating a culturally rich and genre-blending body of work.
Among the standout names on the album are pop and production heavyweights Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, alongside contemporary chart stars such as Ayra Starr, Quavo, and Davido.
The project also features global music figures including Florent Pagny, Dadju, and Congolese superstar Fally Ipupa. Complementing the lineup are soul and gospel standouts like Charlie Wilson, PJ Morton, and the renowned Soweto Gospel Choir.
Further highlighting the album’s international scope are regional stars such as Brazilian singer IZA, Tanzanian hitmaker Diamond Platnumz, and Nigeria’s acclaimed highlife duo The Cavemen.
Notably, Davido’s appearance on the album continues a creative partnership that began with their 2024 collaboration “Joy,” a song that captured the uplifting spirit Kidjo is known for and hinted at the sonic direction of her new era.
With a title like HOPE!! And a guest list packed with global heavyweights, the upcoming album is shaping up to be another landmark release in Kidjo’s illustrious career, one that could once again spotlight African music at the centre of the global stage.
