Nigerian Afrobeats star Omah Lay is clearly turning up the heat as he ushers fans into a new era.
The singer has teased his next release, “Don’t Love Me,” the second single from his much-anticipated sophomore album, Clarity Of Mind.

The teaser follows “Waist,” which dropped last November and quietly set the emotional tone for what was to come.
On January 29, 2026, the Grammy-nominated artist took to social media to share a 76-second black-and-white clip that unmistakably features Omah Lay.
Shot in the backseat of a luxury Rolls-Royce, the video shows him casually puffing on a cigarette and snacking on popcorn beside a mystery woman.
Produced by Tempoe, the song leans into themes his fans know well: emotional distance, vulnerability, and excess all wrapped in that glossy, moody aesthetic often described as his signature “Afro-depression” sound. With Clarity Of Mind, it’s obvious he’s not straying far from the introspective lane that made listeners fall in love with him in the first place.

Recall that on January 28, Omah Lay hosted “Clarity of Mind Radio,” an intimate listening session where he gave fans an early taste of the upcoming album.
During the broadcast, he previewed several tracks, including “Angels” featuring Odumodublvck, and also highlighted his Grammy-nominated collaboration “With You” alongside Davido.
The evening took an exciting turn when Davido himself made a surprise appearance at the studio. After listening to the project, the Afrobeats heavyweight couldn’t hide his admiration, offering glowing praise and signaling strong approval for what Omah Lay has been quietly building behind the scenes.
