    • Oxlade Breaks Silence on Mental Health: “Talk to Someone When Life Gets Overwhelming”

Afrobeats singer Oxlade has spoken out strongly against the stigma surrounding mental health, urging fans and social media users to seek help and talk to someone whenever life feels overwhelming.

The singer appealed in a heartfelt message shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, where he stressed the importance of staying alive and reaching out for support during difficult moments.

Oxlade encouraged those battling emotional struggles not to bottle up their feelings, explaining that healing and recovery are only possible when one is alive to tell their story. According to him, choosing to end one’s life does not end the pain but instead transfers it to loved ones.

He noted that family and friends would be deeply affected by such a loss, emphasising that no one truly suffers alone.

The singer also reassured his followers that no matter how intense or permanent challenges may seem, tough moments are temporary, and help is always within reach if one is willing to ask.

Addressing his close friends and fans directly, Oxlade pleaded with them not to give up, admitting that he would struggle deeply with losing anyone close to him again.

His message has since resonated with many online, sparking conversations around mental health awareness, emotional openness, and the need for compassion and support in difficult times.
