Recall, Ayo Maff’s debut album, Prince of the Street, surges to No. 1 on the Apple Music Top Albums chart in Nigeria, a career-defining milestone for the emerging street-pop sensation.
The 13-track project, which offers a fusion of street narratives, emotional storytelling, and genre-blending melodies, now sits just behind industry heavyweight Olamide, whose latest self-titled album holds the top position.
Taking to social media with humour and humility, Ayo Maff made a lighthearted request to the YBNL boss via X (formerly Twitter), writing: “Baddo abeg commot for that number one small make I screenshot.”
Olamide, known for supporting younger artists, responded with a warm “Congrats, bro,” drawing praise from fans for his continued mentorship in the industry.
