Mavin Records has officially introduced its newest rising star, Cupid Fszn, marking the beginning of his professional journey with the release of his debut EP, Myth Era.

The announcement came through label boss Don Jazzy, who shared a touching backstory about how the young act first came onto his radar.
According to him, the journey started four years ago when a hopeful father sent in a demo from his then–17-year-old son. The message, unfortunately, got buried in his overflowing inbox.
But Cupid Fszn didn’t give up. He kept working, kept refining, and two years later, his talent finally caught the attention of the Mavin team.
Now 21, Cupid Fszn has spent the last couple of years at the Mavin Academy, the same talent incubator that helped shape stars like Rema, Ayra Starr, Magixx, and others. After excelling in the program, he’s now stepping out into the spotlight as Mavin’s latest signee.
Myth Era serves as the official introduction of Cupid Fszn to the world a project that captures his evolving sound and hints at the fresh energy he’s bringing to the label’s already rich roster.
With the EP now out, Mavin Records reinforces its reputation for discovering raw talent, grooming future stars, and continuing its influence on the next wave of African music.
