Manchester United Dominate October Premier League Awards as Mbeumo and Amorim Win Big
The English FA has officially announced the winners of the Premier League’s Player and Manager of the Month awards for October 2025, and it’s a double celebration for Manchester United.

After 10 rounds of Premier League action, standout performances are beginning to shape the season’s narrative, and few clubs have made their presence felt quite like United. The Red Devils swept both major awards, with Bryan Mbeumo taking home the Player of the Month title and Ruben Amorim earning Manager of the Month, highlighting the club’s resurgence under the Portuguese tactician.
Bryan Mbeumo Shines Bright at Old Trafford
Mbeumo has quickly become one of Manchester United’s most impactful signings this season.
The 26-year-old forward enjoyed his most productive month yet in October, registering four goal contributions (three goals and one assist), the highest in the league during that period.
This marks Mbeumo’s first-ever Premier League Player of the Month award and United’s second of the year, following Bruno Fernandes’s win in March. The Cameroonian’s influence has been key to the team’s attacking revival, offering pace, precision, and creativity in the final third.
“Bryan is really direct, and we missed that last year,” manager Amorim admitted recently.
“You can sense when the ball is going to our defender, he is already running to position. This kind of small things that people don’t see are massive to turn our team into a more dangerous team.”
Mbeumo’s recognition continues a positive trend for United, who last saw Rasmus Højlund (now on loan at Napoli) claim the honor in 2024.

Ruben Amorim Ends United’s 23-Month Wait for Manager of the Month
It was a clean sweep for the red half of Manchester as Ruben Amorim clinched October’s Manager of the Month award, capping off an unbeaten run that saw United defeat Sunderland, Liverpool, and Brighton & Hove Albion.
The perfect month, three wins from three injected much-needed momentum into United’s campaign, lifting spirits among fans and players alike while momentarily propelling the club into the top four.
“The credit is not mine, the credit is for my players,” Amorim said after receiving the award. “They did really well, and our goal is to win the next [award], because it means we win football matches and that is our goal.”
Amorim’s win brings an end to a 23-month drought for United managers in this category, with Erik ten Hag the last to claim the honour back in November 2023.
