Blaqbonez addresses the assault and harassment allegations made against him in a new post.

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has publicly addressed the assault and harassment allegations reportedly lodged against him, marking his first official response since the controversy began.
The rapper is said to be under police investigation following a formal petition accusing him of harassment, cyberstalking, and blackmail after a woman alleged that he targeted her online for rejecting his advances.
According to the petitioner’s legal representatives, Blaqbonez allegedly engaged in emotional harassment and circulated private videos on social media after the complainant turned down his proposal.
They also claimed that two formal letters demanding ₦200 million in damages and a public apology were previously sent to the artist but received no response, prompting the filing of the police petition.
On September 27, 2025, Blaqbonez took to his social media page to address what he described as “recent false allegations,” sharing his own side of the story for the first time.
“For nearly a year, I have stayed silent and endured repeated bullying, physical assaults, and online attacks, believing that the truth would speak for itself,” he wrote.
While the police investigation reportedly continues, the rapper maintained his innocence and vowed to let the facts prove his side of the story.
