Odumodublvck Opens Up on Love, Loyalty, and the Woman Who Keeps Him Grounded

For Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, fame and success may have changed his life, but one thing that has stayed constant is the woman who’s been by his side since the very beginning.
In a candid conversation on the Thoughts In A Culli podcast, the Declan Rice crooner bared his heart about his long-term relationship, describing his girlfriend as his “biggest source of peace” and “the closest person” to him.
“My girlfriend is the closest person to me. My girlfriend is my everything. When the Bible said you find a good thing if you find a good woman… she is my everything. She is literally my life. I trust her so much,” he said.
Odumodublvck went on to express gratitude for meeting her before his rise to stardom, saying that their relationship is one of the few things in his life untouched by fame’s chaos.
“She’s my friend. Aside from the fact that we love each other, she’s my n*gga. God blessed me with that one. He gave me that one as a gift, a consolation from all the troubles of my life… I’m lucky I met her before I had money,” he shared.
The rapper, known for his bold personality and streetwise sound, rarely shows this vulnerable side. Yet, when it comes to his girlfriend, his tone softens, revealing a man deeply rooted in gratitude and affection.
This isn’t the first time Odumodublvck has spoken about her influence on his art. During an earlier chat on Apple Music’s Africa Now Radio, he revealed that his song Banza Boy was inspired by her and her friends — women he described as strong, confident, and financially independent.
“She and her friends inspired that song. They are strong, hardworking, and they know their worth. I love that energy,” he said.
Beyond the beats and bravado, Odumodublvck’s story is a reminder that even in the whirlwind of fame, love, real, grounding love remains the one thing that keeps him centered.
