Singer Timi Dakolo calls out President Tinubu’s aide over unpaid job, he reacts

Nigerian singer and songwriter Timi Dakolo has publicly called out O’tega Ogra, the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Tinubu on Digital Engagement and New Media, over an alleged unpaid debt for a completed job.
The Great Nation crooner took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday evening, directly tagging the presidential aide while demanding payment for his work.
“Mr @otegaogra please pick your calls. I did my job,” Dakolo wrote.

His post immediately set off a wave of online reactions, with many Nigerians expressing curiosity about the nature of the project and whether it was connected to the government or a private engagement.
In what seemed like a measured response, O’tega Ogra later posted a cryptic message on X, choosing not to directly address Dakolo’s accusation.
“I see and have noted the commentary. I will not engage in explication where none is required. My record is public and stands on its merits.
Any further attempt to personalise a clearly institutional matter will be met with formal correction and the appropriate professional and legal redress,” he wrote.
