Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has described his relationship with his fourth baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple, as “the only mistake I ever made in my life.”
The Zazuu Zeh crooner made this revelation in a leaked audio conversation with the actress, which he later shared on his Instagram page on Saturday.
In the audio, Portable accused Ashabi of trying to drive away every other woman in his life, including his wife, Bewaji. He confronted her over her alleged attempts to cause chaos in his relationships, claiming she only came into his life for fame.
“You didn’t suffer with me. You only came into my life because of my glory. I made you. Without my name who knows you before now?” he said in a heated tone.
The singer went on to unleash a series of emotional outbursts, accusing Ashabi of disrespecting him and stirring public drama. “You molested and disrespected me in public. You are evil. Any woman I want to call my wife must respect me, but you are driving me crazy,” he continued.
He further praised his wife, Bewaji, for her loyalty, contrasting her with Ashabi. “I’m always happy whenever people talk about my wife, Bewaji. She’s also happy about it. You are the mistake I made in my life,” he said.
Portable also claimed that Ashabi was responsible for the breakdown of peace between him and other women, including Queen Dami, who had reportedly sought reconciliation. “Among all my baby mamas, you are the one chasing people away including Queen Dami. When she came to apologise, you and your friends spoiled it. You are a useless human being,” he said.
In a lengthy tirade, the singer added, “Why do you want to chase all women away from me? It was God who didn’t let my wife, Bewaji, leave my house. You told her that I had girlfriends. You poor girl and actress, what have you ever bought for your parents? You’re wasting your time. I can’t love you. Leave my life. You this ingrate. Who knows you before I came into your life and raised you up? Leave my life.”
Ever since Ashabi became Portable’s baby mama, their relationship has been riddled with public drama marked by frequent online call-outs and heated exchanges. Yet, despite the messy confrontations, the pair have often found ways to reconcile and remain together.
