“If Your Country Needs Me, Drop Your Flag” — Mr Eazi Declares Readiness to Run for President

Afrobeats sensation Mr Eazi has set social media abuzz after boldly declaring his readiness to run for president — not of a specific country, but of any African nation in need of a visionary and youthful leader.
In a video shared on Snapchat, the Legalize crooner opened up about his unexpected political ambition, saying the time had come to make his intentions known.
According to him, his decision isn’t fuelled by a hunger for wealth or political influence but by a genuine desire to bring integrity, innovation, and forward-thinking leadership to the African continent.
“I said it’s time to share it with you guys,” he said in the video. “Now, some of you might be from countries in Africa looking for a young president, one who isn’t after money or power but who is active, innovative, and capable of moving the country forward. I’m officially putting myself forward for the presidency of whatever country needs me. If your country needs me as president, drop your flag.”

The post quickly went viral, dominating conversations on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Several users praised Mr Eazi’s entrepreneurial record, from building his emPawa Africa platform to empowering young creatives, as evidence that he could bring a fresh perspective to leadership.
