Nigerian singer Qdot has finally broken his silence after falling victim to a violent armed robbery at his home.

Mp3bullet reports that the incident occurred in the early hours of September 28, 2025, around 2 a.m., when the musician and his DJ were attacked at gunpoint.
Sharing his harrowing experience via Instagram stories, Qdot revealed how close he came to death and how deeply shaken he remains.
“I didn’t know if I would make it out alive. It was the most terrifying experience of my life,” he wrote.
The Gbese crooner explained that the robbers carted away all his valuables, leaving him with nothing but gratitude for surviving.
“They took everything valuable I owned, down to the last pin. But by the grace and mercy of God, I’m still alive and I’m eternally grateful for that. They took everything valuable I owned, but they did not take my life. I’m still traumatized and deeply shaken by what happened.”
Despite the trauma, Qdot reassured fans of his safety while appreciating the outpour of love and concern since the attack.
“I want you all to know: I’m okay and safe now. I’m surrounded by love and support as I begin the long road to healing from this nightmare. Your support means more than words can express. I love you all. I will be back stronger and wiser.”
Qdot’s emotional account has since drawn sympathy from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry, many of whom have taken to social media to express relief at his survival and solidarity in his recovery.
