He brought whole Nigerian families – John Legend on Mr Eazi, Temi Otedola’s wedding

Grammy-winning American R&B star John Legend has reflected on his time at the lavish wedding of Nigerian singer Mr Eazi and actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola.
The 46-year-old singer, best known for his timeless love ballad “All of Me,” performed at the couple’s private ceremony in Iceland, an event graced by high-profile guests, including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
Speaking during a livestream with popular content creator Kai Cenat, Legend recalled the moment fondly:
“I have sang ‘All Of You’ at a few weddings. I just sang it at the wedding of Nigerian artist, Mr Eazi. He got married a few weeks ago and I sang it at his wedding. He brought whole Nigerian families and crew to Iceland and got married in Iceland.”

The Icelandic ceremony, covered extensively by Vogue Magazine, was one of three celebrations held across different countries. According to the publication, the first leg took place in Monaco on May 9, 2025, a date chosen to honor Eazi’s late mother’s birthday, while a second was hosted in Dubai before the final destination wedding in Iceland.
For the Monte Carlo event, Vogue reported that Temi wore a custom Wiederhoeft suit paired with Briony Raymond jewelry, while Mr Eazi opted for Louis Vuitton.
Shortly after, Temi officially embraced her new surname, updating her Instagram bio to read “Ajibade,” alongside the caption: “Mr and Mrs Ajibade. Now on Vogue Magazine.”
With Legend’s serenade and Vogue’s stylish coverage, the wedding has been hailed as one of the most glamorous celebrity unions of the year, blending Nigerian star power with international flair.
