Mr Eazi pushes back the release of ‘Maison Rouge’ EP to October

Afrobeats sensation Mr Eazi has shifted the release date of his upcoming EP, Maison Rouge. Initially slated to drop on September 25, the seven-track collection will now arrive on October 29 under his imprint, emPawa Africa.
The project brings together previously released singles such as Casanova, Corny, and his latest offering, Love Me Now. Recorded at Hotel Maison Rouge in Cotonou, Benin, the same hub where much of his 2023 album, The Evil Genius, was created, the EP continues Eazi’s tradition of weaving intimate and reflective storytelling into his music.
Fans can expect a mix of lighthearted and soulful records. Casanova playfully explores love and temptation, accompanied by a video shot in Barcelona, while Corny highlights his softer, melodic side.
Adding to the excitement, his track Attention, which featured on the soundtrack of a Formula 1 blockbuster, has further amplified interest in the forthcoming project.
The delay comes amid a memorable year for the singer. In July, Mr Eazi made headlines after marrying actress and billionaire heiress Temi Otedola in an intimate ceremony held in Iceland. Away from the spotlight, he continues to push boundaries in artist development through his emPawa Africa platform, which nurtures emerging African talent.
Though details of a 2025 tour are yet to be announced, expectations remain high as fans eagerly await the release of Maison Rouge on October 29, a project positioned as the next step in Mr Eazi’s ever-evolving soundscape.
