Atletico Madrid’s Metropolitano to host UEFA Champions League final in 2027
UEFA’s Executive Committee, meeting in Tirana, Albania, on 11 September 2025, has confirmed the venues for several major European football and futsal finals scheduled for 2026 and 2027.
The Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid has been awarded the 2027 UEFA Champions League final, bringing Europe’s premier club match back to Atlético Madrid’s home ground for the first time since 2019.
In women’s football, Warsaw’s National Stadium will host the 2027 UEFA Women’s Champions League final, the first time the Polish capital stages a European women’s club final.
Other decisions included Salzburg, Austria, being selected to stage the 2026 UEFA Super Cup, while Pesaro, Italy, will welcome the 2026 UEFA Futsal Champions League final.
On the youth and women’s national team front, UEFA confirmed that Astana, Kazakhstan, will host the 2027 UEFA Under-19 Futsal Championship, and Osijek, Croatia, has been chosen for the 2027 UEFA Women’s Futsal Championship.
