The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) promise to be a star-studded spectacle when they air live from New York’s UBS Arena on Sunday, September 7.

The ceremony, hosted by rap legend LL COOL J, will be broadcast on CBS, simulcast on MTV, and streamed on Paramount+ in the U.S. For Nigerian and African fans, the show kicks off at 2 AM WAT.
Before the main event, viewers can tune in to the one-hour pre-show at 1 AM WAT, hosted by Nessa and Kevan Kenney.
The pre-show will air across multiple networks including MTV, BET, BET Her, Comedy Central, CMT, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, and VH1.
