Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has stunned fans with an unexpected revelation about the direction his life could have taken if music hadn’t worked out for him.

In a casual interaction with a fan, the African Giant opened up about the alternative paths he might have pursued while growing up in Port Harcourt.
According to him, without music as an outlet, his life could have gone in several extreme directions.
Burna Boy admitted he could easily have found himself involved in oil theft, internet fraud, basketball, or even working as a prostitute.
With a blunt sense of humor, he added that he might even have turned into a suicide bomber.
“There are many options,” he said. “I could be stealing oil, I could be playing basketball, I could be a fraudster, a suicide bomber, anything including a prostitute.”
The statement has since sparked mixed reactions online, with some fans interpreting his words as a raw, unfiltered truth about the struggles of youths in Nigeria, while others believe he was being sarcastic.

In addition, Burna Boy’s global dominance shows no signs of weakness or slowing down as he secures yet another spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
His new joint effort with American rapper Gunna, titled wgft, debuts at No. 94, marking the latest milestone in the African Giant’s ongoing U.S. chart journey.
This latest entry strengthens Burna Boy’s reputation as one of Africa’s most consistent voices on the world stage, with each Billboard appearance reflecting his versatility and reach.
