Chelsea have unveiled their third kit for the 2025/26 season, and it’s a design steeped in history while pushing forward into a new era of success.

Created in partnership with Nike, the shirt has been branded “the revival of an icon” — and it’s easy to see why. The predominantly black strip, enhanced with silver accents and subtle hints of blue, takes inspiration from the club’s 2004–06 away kit while also borrowing cues from Nike’s legendary Total 90 template. The result is a modern design that still feels instantly familiar to long-time supporters.

The standout feature is the reintroduction of Chelsea’s retro crest, positioned proudly on the chest for the first time since the 2004/05 campaign. It’s a nostalgic nod to the days of club greats like Ruud Gullit and Dennis Wise, merging the Blues’ storied past with the sleek minimalism of today’s football fashion.
The look also echoes the black-and-grey aesthetic of Chelsea’s 2013/14 kit, another fan favourite that turned heads both at home and abroad. With this drop, the club completes its full kit line-up for the season — and once again, Chelsea and Nike have managed to strike the perfect balance between heritage and modern innovation.
The 25/26 third shirt is more than just a kit: it’s a statement, linking eras of triumph two decades apart and symbolising a new chapter for the Blues.
