Davido Sells Out 12 North American Venues on His 5 Alive Tour

Nigerian music powerhouse Davido continues to leave an indelible mark on the global stage as his ongoing 5 Alive Tour hits a major milestone, selling out 12 venues across North America.
Fresh off his electrifying show at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Maryland on August 5th, the Grammy-nominated star celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony and heartfelt words of gratitude.
“We did it. We sold out every night and made millions of dollars,” Davido shared. “If you dream it, it’s possible. With God, everything is possible. With all the odds against me, we made it happen.”

As part of the tour, Davido has headlined prestigious venues including Canada’s Scotiabank Arena, joining fellow Nigerian stars Asake, Burna Boy, and Rema in performing to capacity crowds at the 19,000-seat arena home to NBA team Toronto Raptors.
A key highlight of the tour has been Davido’s enhanced live performance, which he credits to veteran Nigerian producer and music director Cobhams Asuquo, who has been instrumental as the musical architect behind the tour’s dynamic sound.

The 5 Alive Tour follows the release of Davido’s fifth studio album, 5ive, and features an all-star supporting cast including rap phenomenon OdumoduBlvck, Afrobeats star Victony, and emerging talent Moravvey.
While the current leg wraps up this summer, Davido is set to return to the U.S. on November 20th for the final lap of the tour at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where he will host his signature AWAY Festival.
With this tour, Davido reaffirms his role as a global ambassador for Afrobeats, pushing the genre to new heights and cementing his legacy as one of Africa’s most influential music exports.
