    Ghanaian-American music innovator Amaarae has pulled back the curtain on the official tracklist for her much-anticipated album BLACK STAR, and it’s nothing short of a cultural spectacle. Slated for release this Friday, August 8, 2025, the project is already stirring excitement across music and pop culture spaces.

    Far from being a conventional release, BLACK STAR promises a genre-blending journey, laced with bold collaborations that reflect Amaarae’s fearless creative spirit and global vision.

    Among the headline-grabbing features is Naomi Campbell, the world-renowned supermodel and cultural icon, who appears on a track titled MS60. While details remain under wraps about the nature of her role—be it narration, vocal cameo, or cinematic interlude her presence alone hints at a daring fusion of music and high fashion.

    Another major talking point is Kiss Me Thru the Phone Pt. 2, a futuristic reimagining of Soulja Boy’s 2008 classic, featuring UK alt-pop sensation PinkPantheress. Already pegged as a potential standout, the track fuses nostalgia with cutting-edge production.

    The album also sees a collaboration with legendary R&B veteran Charlie Wilson on Dream Scenario, expected to offer a dose of soulful warmth and old-school magic to the project. Fans can also expect genre-pushing energy on Starkilla, featuring UK rap powerhouse Bree Runway and enigmatic production duo Starkillers.

    With 13 tracks in total, BLACK STAR stands as Amaarae’s most expansive and experimental offering yet. The newly revealed cover art complements the tracklist, revealing a bold, celestial design that reflects the album’s cosmic and unapologetically Black ethos.
