Davido Hints at New Collaboration with Adekunle Gold Following U.S. Sales Milestone for “High”
Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has teased fans with the prospect of a new collaboration with fellow Afro-fusion artist Adekunle Gold, also known as AG Baby.
The revelation came on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, as Davido celebrated a major milestone for their 2021 hit single ‘High,’ which has officially surpassed 200,000 units in sales in the United States, according to a report from global music analytics platform Chart Data.
Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) page, Davido reposted the update with an exciting message.
He noted that although he doesn’t plan to feature on many projects this year, he recently cleared what he called the “most verse” for Adekunle Gold’s forthcoming project.
