Nigerian music star Rema has once again proven his status as a global cultural force, not just with his chart-topping music, but through a commanding presence on the world’s biggest fashion stage.

The Calm Down crooner stole the spotlight at the recently concluded Paris Fashion Week, earning accolades from international fashion houses, critics, and pop culture tastemakers.

American publication Complex named Rema the Best-Dressed Celebrity of the event, placing him ahead of numerous global icons who graced the runway showcases.

His fashion statements throughout the week did not go unnoticed, with leading outlets like Vogue and several West African fashion media commending his bold, genre-defying looks.

One of the most talked-about appearances was his outfit for Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton presentation.

Rema arrived in a daring double-denim ensemble topped with a varsity jacket and anchored by a chunky statement chain.

Vogue featured the outfit in its official Paris Fashion Week diary, applauding the singer for “effortless yet commanding style” and praising the seamless fusion of streetwear swagger with high fashion precision.

The 24-year-old didn’t stop there. He served several other fashion-forward moments during the week, including a show-stealing appearance in a rich brown fur coat, torn denim, and sleek black sunglasses.

The look, according to West Africa Watch, “captured the spirit of modern Afrobeats fashion,” balancing traditional flair with cosmopolitan edge.

Another unforgettable moment came at the 424 × Porsche runway show, where Rema sported a tailored trench coat paired with wide-leg pants, crisp white boots, and silver jewelry.

Rema has mastered the art of making a strong visual statement without relying on theatrics.

What resonated most with critics and fans alike wasn’t just his clothing it was the energy he exuded.

From his poised body language to his quiet confidence, Rema embodied the notion that fashion is about more than fabric, it’s about presence, authenticity, and vision.

His run at Paris Fashion Week signaled more than individual brilliance; it reflected a broader cultural shift. African artists are no longer simply participating in global narratives, they are shaping them.

Rema, in particular, is spearheading this movement, leading with style as much as with sound.

As Afrobeats continues to rise on the world stage, Rema is setting the tone for what it means to be a 21st-century African star—fashion-forward, unapologetic, and globally influential.

Indeed, Rema isn’t merely dressing for the moment,he’s designing the future.
