Darkoo drops star-studded tracklist and new release date for upcoming ep ‘Sexy Girl Summer’
UK-based Nigerian rap star Darkoo is gearing up to make waves this summer with the release of her much-anticipated extended play, Sexy Girl Summer, now officially slated to drop on Friday, June 27, 2025.
The eight-track body of work features an all-star lineup of African music heavyweights, including chart-topping Nigerian acts Victony, Rema, and Davido. Fans can expect electrifying collaborations such as “Psycho” with Victony, “Favorite Girl” featuring Rema, and “Right Now” alongside Davido. Solo cuts like “Like Dat,” “Stay,” “Focus On Me, Your Number,” and “Options” round out the project, promising a blend of infectious rhythms and genre-bending sounds.
Initially scheduled for release on June 20, the EP was pushed back by a week, heightening anticipation among fans craving a soundtrack to match the season’s energy.
