Davido to perform at 2025 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has been officially announced as one of the headline performers at the 2025 Essence Festival of Culture, solidifying his position as a global force in music.
Set to take the stage on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Davido will join an all-star lineup featuring iconic names across soul, R&B, reggae, and Afrobeats.
The night will also showcase Grammy winner Jill Scott in a special A Philly Jawn performance alongside Jazmine Sullivan and Patti LaBelle.
Other confirmed performers include Erykah Badu, Buju Banton, Summer Walker, Ghanaian-American breakout Moliy, and Donell Jones, who will perform in the Super Lounge.
Presented in partnership with Coca-Cola, the Essence Festival is one of the largest celebrations of Black music and culture in the U.S., drawing global audiences to its vibrant mix of live music, culture, and community.
Davido’s inclusion not only reflects his immense global appeal but also highlights Afrobeats’ continued expansion onto the world’s biggest stages.
