Belgium’s electronic music producer Lynvy welcomes 2025 with a bold mix of sounds and a celebration of different cultures. “Worami” is a lively mix of Afrobeats and electronic dance music, made with attention and enthusiasm.

Worami aims to elicit movement, evoke emotions, and foster unity among diverse individuals. It’s not just another song; it’s a bold message. Worami is a big step forward for Lynvy, who started making music in mid-2024 at age 32. Lynvy has quickly developed a unique sound that combines an electronic background with fresh Afro-rhythmic influences. This piece is a unique blend that evokes a sense of universality and intimacy.

The new song, Worami, is a lively club song that explores cultural unity and music evolution. Its strong beat and spiritual production make it stand out from electronic releases, making it a dancefloor hit that stays in your head.

    Inspiration and Creative Growth

The idea for Worami came about during a life-changing trip to Morocco in 2024. There, Lynvy got to learn from Deep Forest, a Grammy-winning artist known for his work in electronic world music. This guidance led Lynvy to explore new musical styles, bringing in the natural beats, instruments, and rich culture of Afro-inspired sounds.

The mix of traditional African drums with modern synths and electronic sounds gives the song a lively feel, while still being easy to enjoy, like pop dance music.

Lynvy’s way of telling stories with sound really stands out. Every part of the track—from the lively Afro-drums to the light synth melodies—seems carefully arranged, making you want to listen again to discover all its details. It’s a lovely experience that shows how different cultures, music styles, and artists can come together beautifully.

“Meeting with Deep Forest opened my eyes to a world of Afro sounds,” Lynvy explains. “With Worami, I wanted to merge electronic dance music with traditional Afro rhythms to create something fresh, vibrant, and uplifting.”

Lynvy’s first release, Riff Me Up, debuted on November 23, 2024, officially marking the beginning of their solo career. “The process of creating music has been incredibly rewarding,” says Lynvy, reflecting on their rapid evolution as an artist. “Each collaboration brings something new to the table and adds to my musical identity.”

Lynvy has also found success in collaborative projects, most notably their work with French Touch artist Ocin J on Nightrend which is an original blend of progressive house, ambiance and psytrance, infused with high energy and a danceable groove. It is scheduled for release in mid-April.
