Jaywon calls out Lagos hotel over shocking incident involving fellow artist
Nigerian singer-songwriter Jaywon has publicly called out SH Hotel in Akinpelu, Oshodi, Lagos, alleging that fellow artist Joel was mistreated during an event hosted at the venue.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Jaywon claimed that Joel arrived at the event in good health but left with a broken leg. To support his accusation, he shared a photo depicting the alleged injury and expressed his outrage over the incident.
“You invited an artist to your event only to treat him horribly. He arrived on two feet but left with a broken leg,” Jaywon wrote. “SH Hotel, Akinpelu, Oshodi, Lagos—if this is something you’ve done before, it ends now. @joeelkennis will get justice!”
While details surrounding the incident remain unclear, Jaywon’s post has ignited conversations among fans and industry insiders who are demanding accountability. As of now, SH Hotel has yet to issue a response regarding the allegations.
