Man United confirm new long-term contract for Amad Diallo
Manchester United have secured the long-term future of star forward Amad Diallo, with the Ivorian signing a new contract that keeps him at Old Trafford until 30 June 2030.
Amad, 22, has been in scintillating form under manager Ruben Amorim, excelling both in a wing-back role and as part of the front three. He netted his sixth goal of the season in Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
Previously set to expire at the end of the season, Amad’s deal had a one-year extension option, but the club moved quickly to finalize a longer-term agreement amid reported interest from two other clubs.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Amad expressed his excitement:
“I am really proud to have signed this new contract. I’ve already had some incredible moments with this club, but there’s so much more to come. My ambitions are huge, and I want to create history at Manchester United.
“I’ve learned so much since arriving four years ago and am grateful to the coaches, staff, and fans for their unwavering support. It’s been a challenging season for everyone, but I believe we’re on the right path. I’m ready to give my all to make our supporters proud again.”
