    Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has opened up about his difficult childhood, revealing that his father abandoned him at birth.

    In a heartfelt interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the “Back in Uni” hitmaker shared that his father left shortly after he was born, leaving him to grow up without paternal guidance.

    Reflecting on this challenging experience, Blaqbonez explained how it shaped his perspective and resilience.

    “My dad kind of dipped when I was born, so he wasn’t there. I wasn’t raised by my dad,” he revealed during the interview.

    Despite the absence of his father and the hurdles he faced, Blaqbonez has risen to prominence as one of Africa’s leading rap talents.

    During the conversation, he confidently declared himself “the best rapper in Africa,” emphasizing his belief that his discography surpasses that of any other rapper on the continent.

    Recall, In a bold tweet, Blaqbonez contended that only “the big 3 or 4” Nigerian artists surpass him in discography strength, vehemently declaring, “NOBODY, I repeat NOBODY has a better catalogue than me.”

    The rapper even went as far as expressing disappointment with the direction of Afrobeats, dubbing it “ASS,” much to the chagrin of fans.
