Zinoleesky reacts to Lil Smart’s assault and kidnapping allegations
Popular Nigerian singer Zinoleesky has dismissed allegations of assault and kidnapping levelled against him by dancer Lil Smart, describing them as baseless and a ploy for attention. The artist has also vowed to pursue legal action against Lil Smart, demanding proof to back up the claims.
The controversy began when Lil Smart, a former affiliate of Marlian Music, took to Instagram with accusations against Naira Marley, Zinoleesky, and others associated with the label. He alleged that he was kidnapped and assaulted by them and hinted at revealing more details regarding the death of the late singer Mohbad.
Reacting to the allegations, Zinoleesky addressed the matter in a now-deleted Instagram post, where he questioned Lil Smart’s credibility.
He stated that he had not seen Lil Smart in years and accused him of using the situation to gain attention. Zinoleesky’s post read: “Stop using my name for clout chasing. Haven’t seen that nigga in years. Sha get ready to prove everything in court.”
This comes amidst ongoing public scrutiny surrounding Marlian Music and its affiliates following Mohbad’s controversial death.
While Lil Smart has yet to provide substantial evidence for his allegations, the accusations have sparked further conversations about the label and its internal affairs.
As the situation unfolds, fans and observers await more clarity, especially as Zinoleesky prepares to defend his reputation through legal channels.
