Usimamane Responds to Alleged Argument with A-Reece and Encourages Fans to Be Peaceful.
South African hip-hop newcomer Usimamane recently addressed rumours of a supposed feud with rap sensation A-Reece. Speculation about a rivalry between the two has circulated, fueled in part by social media chatter, but Usimamane is setting the record straight.
The 21-year-old artist clarified that he’s a fan of A-Reece and wants the fanbase, especially A-Reece’s loyal “Slimes,” to stop pushing the narrative of a feud.
“Honestly, I’m a fan,” Usimama shared. “But I don’t appreciate how his supporters come at me. A lot of people on Twitter, including A-Reece himself, try to put it in my face that I’m number two and he’s number one.”

Despite the competitive nature of hip-hop, Usimamane insists he harbours no ill will towards A-Reece. “I don’t think I’ll ever diss him. I’m still a fan, even now,” he affirmed.
Usimama also revealed he delayed listening to A-Reece’s latest album due to their simultaneous releases, but when he finally did, he was impressed by the quality of the work. “When I finally did [listen], I have to say it’s a great project, and I’m being genuine,” he stated and with this clarification, Usimama hopes to put an end to the feud rumours and keep the focus on their music.
