Claims of Betrayal and Mistreatment Surface.
Nigerian singer Cynthia Morgan, now known as Madrina, has reignited a longstanding dispute with the Okoye brothers Paul, Peter, and Jude by levelling serious accusations against them. In a recent Instagram story, she alleged that the brothers left a trail of mistreatment and broken ties, impacting the lives of many who had once been close to them.
Madrina recounted the story of their former driver, Stanley, who worked for the Okoyes for over a decade and was reportedly left struggling financially. In her post, she shared that in 2016, she personally gave Stanley 50,000 naira to document and sell his property as a way to help him transition from his hardship.
Cynthia also questioned the fate of several others who had worked with the Okoyes, including Papi J, Wande, and even a relative, Tony, suggesting that these individuals had similarly been left behind. She explained that she had chosen to stay silent about these issues for years, prioritizing her career and youth. However, feeling compelled to speak out now, Madrina expressed her frustration with an intense message directed at the Okoye brothers.
In her own words, Madrina wrote:
“The Okoyes ruined people. Their driver Stanley worked with them for over a decade, and I was the one who gave him 50k in 2016 to document his landed property so he could sell it and move on from them. They left him with nothing, according to him. What happened to Papi J, Wande? Even their brother Tony?
I kept quiet because I was young, thought I knew too much, and just wanted to focus on my career. But I’m speaking now. To all of you: I’m done being silent.”
