Manchester United will soon welcome a new manager, Ruben Amorim, who is joining from Sporting CP.
Following the decision to part ways with Erik ten Hag, United quickly pinpointed the former Portugal international as their top choice.
After intense negotiations, Amorim has officially signed a contract through 2027, with an option to extend for an additional year.
For now, however, fans and owners of INEOS will need to wait a bit longer as Amorim completes his final games with Sporting before stepping into his role at Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim’s First Six Matches with United
United supporters are eagerly speculating about potential changes to the team’s tactics and lineup under Amorim. However, he won’t be on the sideline for United’s upcoming Premier League showdown with Chelsea this Sunday.
Currently, Amorim is set to lead Sporting through three more matches—against Estrala, Manchester City, and Braga—before he joins United after the November international break.
Until then, interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy will continue to manage United’s next few fixtures, which include matches against Chelsea, PAOK, and Leicester City.
