Canadian rapper Drake was spotted in the audience at Nigerian singer Tems‘ “Born In The Wild” tour concert in Toronto on Saturday night, September 7, 2024.

The global superstar was seen nodding along to the performance from his VIP seat, showing his support for Tems as she delivered an electrifying show. Despite battling a cold, Tems gave a powerful performance, mixing songs from her debut album with earlier hits.

The crowd was energized as she declared her determination to “dance this cold away.”

Drake and Tems have previously collaborated on two occasions—on Drake’s track “Fountain” and Future’s hit “Wait 4 U,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Drake’s presence at the concert highlights the growing connection between Nigerian and international artists and his continued support for Tems as her career continues to rise.

In other news, Tems has hinted at a possible deluxe edition of her album “Born In The Wild.” The album, which was released in June, received overwhelming praise from both fans and critics.

While still unveiling visual companions for the project, Tems suggested the potential for an expanded edition during her appearance on Kick Game’s “Shopping For Sneakers” on Sunday, September 1st.

In the interview with host Craig Mitch, Tems shared that she initially recorded 30 songs for “Born In The Wild” but ultimately trimmed it down to 18 tracks for the final release.

When asked about the possibility of a deluxe version of the album, she playfully responded, “It’s possible that it’s coming. I’m not confirming or denying.”

Tems also hinted at the inclusion of additional features that didn’t make it to the original album, saying, “There were more features, which I can’t say. It might still happen. That’s why I can’t say.
