Tekno Denies Collapse Rumors, Confirms He’s ‘Healthy and Well’
Nigerian Afrobeats singer Tekno has addressed and dismissed viral reports claiming that he collapsed on stage while performing in South Africa. A video had surfaced online showing an artist appearing to have a seizure and collapsing during a performance, which led to widespread rumors that Tekno was the individual in the clip.
Taking to social media, Tekno clarified the situation, stating that he was not the person in the video and that he is not even in South Africa at the moment.
He reassured his fans that he is “hale and hearty” and in good health. Additionally, Tekno offered a special prayer for the artist who was actually in the viral video, showing empathy and concern for the individual’s well-being.
This clarification follows a statement from Mr Eazi, Tekno’s record label owner and colleague, who had already debunked the rumors earlier. Mr Eazi confirmed that Tekno was in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, not South Africa, as the rumors suggested.
Tekno’s response has put an end to the speculation and concern among his fans, who were relieved to hear that the singer is doing well.
