Asake reveals why Davido collaboration didn’t materialize on “Lungu Boy” album
Afrobeats sensation Asake has revealed the surprising reason why his latest album, “Lungu Boy,” does not feature a collaboration with Nigerian superstar Davido.
During an Instagram Live Q&A session with fans on Saturday, August 10, 2024, Asake addressed the absence of Davido on the album, clarifying that while they have a song together, it was not included in this release.
When a fan asked, “Why did you not add Davido? Did you not have a feature?”, Asake responded, “Me and Davido still have a song, but this is time for *Lungu Boy*; there will be time for that one too.”
Asake’s response indicates that the collaboration with Davido is still in the pipeline and will be released at a later date, fueling anticipation among fans.
Meanwhile, “Lungu Boy” has been making significant waves in the music industry, and Asake’s explanation regarding the Davido feature has only heightened the excitement surrounding both artists.
