Multiple award-winning rapper and performer Olamide has excited fans by revealing the start date for his highly anticipated world tour. During a recent Q&A session on social media, Olamide confirmed that his world tour would kick off in the last quarter of 2024.
This announcement follows the earlier news of an upcoming OLIC (Olamide Live In Concert) event in December 2024 and the surprise release of his EP “Ikigai.” The rapper also shared that other YBNL artists are set to release their projects in 2024, making it a promising year for the label and its fans.

In what many have categorized as an unexpected release, Olamide, also known as Baddo, has set a new record for all Nigerian projects released in 2024 on Spotify.
Fans received the project’s release with open arms as Olamide’s “Ikigai” became the 2024 Nigerian project with the highest number of streams in the first 24 hours of its release on Spotify.
“Ikigai” gathered over 1.8 million streams on Spotify alone, making it the most-streamed Nigerian project released in 2024 in the first full day of tracking. The album also amassed 3 million streams on Audiomack and 1.1 million streams on Boomplay Music on its first day of release.
