In other news, Davido shared his candid thoughts about marrying an Igbo woman during an Instagram live session hosted by music executive Ubi Franklin shortly after his wedding to Chioma Rowland on June 25, 2024.
Davido, who tied the knot with Chioma, an Igbo lady from Imo State, remarked, “It’s not easy. It’s not easy to marry an Igbo woman. Igbo woman, it’s not easy.”
Although he didn’t elaborate on the specifics of his statement, Davido had earlier reassured Chioma’s parents during the wedding ceremony that he would protect and respect their daughter in their marriage.
